Easter and the Life Jesus died for.

YAAAY! It is Easter, time to party, have some fun or probably just rest from all the work & life stress.

Yaay! great for you! But can we just take a minute to reflect, think deeply about what Jesus Christ did for us, for humanity? Shall we?

He bore all our pains, all of it; can you imagine how grave that must have been! I have a slight idea of what pain feels like, some people have had a greater deal of pain to deal with. Now imagine the world population and its pain, Jesus bore it all, all of it!!!

I feel that was why He cried out in a loud voice, Eloi Eloi Lama Sabachthani? meaning My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me?! Mark 15: 34.

Like, He was saying to God! give me some assistance in bearing all this burden! You did not even consider giving me some supernatural help, so I do not feel this great pain( I feel like great undermines the kind of pain that Jesus bore though).

As Jesus cried out, it was recorded that the earth shook, rocks broke and most importantly the veil in the temple was torn.

Free access was given to every human, free access to the throne of grace, of God, the presence of the most high. Yaaay us! I really cannot start to imagine having to go to a pastor, priest every single time I wanted to commune or hear from God.  I can talk to and hear from Him as I take a break from work or as I even work. The torn veil at the temple was symbolic of the free access we have to speak to and hear from God.

Praise master Jesus!!! Hallelujah! I say praise master Jesus!

All the evil and negatives that had been written, that had holds on our lives were blotted out by His shed blood on the cross and all nailed to that cross.

He died, went to the grave and made a public spectacle of dark powers and principalities. His death and journey to the underworld brought us victory and restored our authority and dominion over everything God created, the way God wanted it when He created man.

Now He has risen, the reason for the season!

The king rose from the grave on the third day, death could not hold Him down. He fought and won it all for me and you!

His resurrection is significant that we can:

Rise to a new life of freedom, Victory, dominion, authority, love, abundance, peace, forgiveness, beauty, hope,  eternal life

Die to a life of sin, depression, oppression, anger, domination, anger, pain, bitterness, unforgiveness, death!

This is what Jesus died for! Are we living in the light and knowledge of this?

If we are, let us press on and focus on the things which are above, where Jesus is sitteth; conforming to the image of Christ. Colossians 3:1-11

And just in case you do not know what it feels like to experience peace, love, or hope. Jesus is the way and answer to experience life! Come to Jesus, embrace Him, accept Him into your life. That’s all it takes; accept and confess Him as your Lord and Savior, there is no discrimination as to who can be friends with Him.

My death to sin and new life with Him began in 2016 and it has been amazing. You should not be missing out on this.

My salvation is the one thing I am most grateful for, Jesus paid for it and you should have it too.

May the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ not be in vain in our lives. Amen!
