I’ve known Abimbola (or as I like to call her, Bimbz) for a really long time now, since we were teenagers but we connected when we found ourselves in the same workers group in church and decided to take our faith walk seriously.
While I’ve had a few bumps on the way, I’m thankful that Bimbs continued because God will then use her this year to grow and strengthen my walk with Him.
Even though she tries to be cool, she gives me elder sister vibes. But the elder sister I can talk to about anything. I trust her counsel because I trust the spirit she obeys – the spirit of God. I know she’s called for this because of the relationship we now share. She is a friend that sharpens my iron.
