As long as day and night exists, there exists the forces of light and the forces of darkness.
So many mysteries in this world that only God has keys to.
While we wait in the day we all be reunited with God and ask Him all the questions we might have. There is a constant war between these forces. As children of light(the most high God), th devil constantly tries to see ways of depriving us of our heritage in christ Jesus.
Hence he tries to afflict us with pain, depression, illness, confusion and the rest. They are all his vices just to veer us off the path of righteousness.
But then they are all schemes and just vices, they can’t and wouldn’t prevail if we don’t allow them.
God has given us authority over the devil, for whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever we lose here is loosed in heaven. He has given us authority over anything that exalts it’s name over the name of the Lord.
Prayer is our only way out, it’s the powerful weapon we have against the devil but then again I have learnt we have to be strategic about our shots. We just do not pull the trigger, we need to focus, aim and shoot.

Here goes the strategies, some I knew already, some I found out other angles to them.
Strategy one – Full body prayer
As illustrated in the video embedded above, it simply means praying with all parts of our bodies active. Instead of praying with just our tongues, we should let our minds work as we pray actively imagining that we seek in prayer is done. We should pray with our hands, our feet, our screams. Let our whole bodies do the praying. For example the victory of Israel over the Amalekites was dependent on Moses’ hands raised to theLord. Whenever his hands went down, Israel started to lose,when his hands were up they began to conquer~ Exodus 17:11
Jesus prayed to the extent his sweat was as thick as blood in the garden of Gethsemane. I’d like to believe He didn’t just pray with His tongue, He must have actively engaged all parts of His body. He was strengthened by angels in His time of distress.
Strategy Two-Command the Host of heaven
God has with Him in His Kingdom the host of heaven. Their paramount duty is warfare, they are powerful, ferocious and organized. We Christians have them at our disposal, all we need to do is command them to go fight on our behalf.
Jesus cited this in Matthew 26:53
Strategy Three -Develop the breakthrough mentality
Jesus encoraged His disciples to pray and not lose heart, He told them the parable of a woman who sought justice from a judge. She kept at it for so long, the judge just had to serve justice because the woman wouldn’t just give him a breather.
Now will God not fight for us and serve Justice for His children?!
Be encouraged, keep at it! You are so close to getting it.
Strategy Four-Use the power of the anointing
God’s anointing has the power to break all yokes; as children of the most high we all possess this anointing.
What we need to do is stir it up, activate it and release on items, things around us. The devil cannot use something God’s fire and anointing is on.
You can just place your hand on your bed for example and say in Jesus name I stir up, activate and release the anointing of God on my bed.
Strategy Five-Get rid of sin
To have complete victory in the place of prayer, our flesh has to be crucified. We need to do away with those things God cannot stand, it gives the devil a good playing ground.
Kill your flesh today.
Strategy six– Bind and lose
We have the authority to bind the devil, do well to cast him and his agents to the pits of hell right after binding.
I learnt we can also bind God’s kingdom to our soul. If we are experiencing confusion, unrest, laziness. We can just bind the kingdom of God, focus, alertness, discipline to our souls in the name of Jesus
Strategy seven-Pray in Tongues; the prayer language
I have written a couple of times on this. Praying in tongues, is praying in the spirit, praying God’s will. It also edifies and makes us stronger spiritually
Strategy eight -Taking the Atmosphere
This means to charge your atmosphere with God’s presence. Evil spirits cannot stand God’s word or our praises of the King. So we can charge our atmosphere by constantly singing His praises, we could leave worship songs playing in our environs constantly or the scripture.
Strategy nine-Praying God’s word
God’s word is sharper than any double-edged sword,it does not go out and return void. Gods word accomplishes just what it says it would.
So we can use God’s word to fight and establish things in our lives
Strategy ten– Use the name of Jesus & the blood of Jesus
At the name of Jesus, every knee bows and confesses that He is lord! The blood of Jesus is very potent, it has been shed to redeem us. Hence, we should utilize it in warfare
Strategy eleven -Pray and strategic time
The devil and His cohorts carry out their activities majorly at night. Hence, the night time is a strategic time to pray when warfare is intense.
As Christians we should know the difference between power and authority. Authority is greater than power. The devil may have some power in this world but Jesus has given us authority to frustrate the efforts of the devil –
Listen! I have given you authority so that you can walk on snakes and scorpions and overcome all the power of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you ~Luke 10:19 Good news Translation.
