The Peace of God that Surpasses All Understanding.

About two years ago, I remember how anxious & fearful I was about a situation. I was so fearful that no human words could make me feel better. So I made up my mind to hear God’s voice speak about the matter. Three days, I locked myself up, tarrying in God’s presence.

On the third day, I heard God’s voice clearly -“In your anxiety, I am with you.” As short and simple as those words were, the kind of peace that overwhelmed me, exceeded my understanding. I jumped up off from my bed excited. God had spoken to my situation & there was this sudden calm around. In subsequent days to come, I indeed saw that God is with me.

God speaks to us by different means and methods; He speaks to me through songs, through His word, through men and women of God and so on. Once we become new borns in Christ and have the Holy spirit living and actively engaged in us, He would always highlight to us God’s mind per time, given that we ask. And other times we could hear God’s voice explicitly.

Today, I am reminded & I am reminding you not to be anxious about anything. Being anxious solves absolutely nothing instead we should pray to God about everything, keep praying about it till we are hear God speak and our anxiety is replaced with His peace. Jesus Christ did not die that we may live in anxiety.

Philippians 4:6-7 tells us to pray about everything! And then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will fill our lives. Many times we just pray without the intent of hearing what God’s response is. Many times, it is in His response that His peace comes.

Therefore, we should pray with the intent to hear God speak concerning whatever we may be anxious about. God sent His word & healed them & delivered them from destruction Psalm 107:20. God sent His word & there was calm over the stormy sea Mark 4:39

So today my dear in your anxiety,  I hope that you are reminded & strengthened to go to God in prayer, tarry there until He sends His word, then you will experience His peace that surpasses all understanding in Jesus name,
Amen.
